Dude Gets Twisted On Train
One day, as I was making my way downtown via subway (probably headed to the Ralph Lauren store in SoHo), there was this guy sitting on the train making fast hand gestures. From a distance it looked like he was rubbing his hands together to warm them up but the only thing was… It wasn’t cold outside. So I’m watching this dude closely & noticed there’s a Rubix Cube in his hand. After seeing this dude repeatedly mix up the sides then solve the entire cube (almost as fast as it took him to mix it up) I was truly astounded. He started to develop some on-lookers who was checking him out thru the corners of their eyes. I was the only gutsy one to actually break the silence & step to him; then others followed suit (as you will see in this video clip).
I eventually got his name & MySpace information so I could credit him properly & give him the props he deserves but stupid me lost his info that same day. Sorry dude. Hopefully you or someone who knows you sees this post then they can fill me in on who you are exactly. He actually says his full name at the top of this video but I couldn’t make out his first name. His last name is Matthew I believe.
Chris Gardner Eat Your Heart Out!
In case it’s unclear in the video, this dude told me he taught himself how to solve the Rubix Cube in 5 days which he started doing last year. Peep how he didn’t know who I was. See people? I told you I wasn’t a ‘celebrity’.
But don’t get it twisted I could still make beats & rap better than the average bear. Ain’t that right Boo Boo!?!?!!
Shouts:
- To _____ Matthew for being dope with the Rubix Cube thus giving me something to blog about. *kudos*

I dont say that I can do it better but there’s a lot of people who can do it faster. If I only could do it in slow mo lol
You’ve seen people solve a Rubix Cube faster than this guy? No way Jorge. Prove it!

Man, these people and the ones that Stack Cups competitively (no, really: http://www.worldsportstackingassociation.org) are like Rain Man-type savants or something!
Yeah Jeremy. Have you seen that little cup stacking kid Steven Purugganan? “Rain Boy” I swear.
