- Consequence I can’t say this enough: You made one of the greatest classics (unfortunately) never heard: production by Q-Tip, Ali-Shaheed Muhammad, Jay Dee, Havoc & myself (88-Keys). Super upset Hostile Takeover never came out; even more upset about ‘Tip’s fire… however, WAS upset about the small portion of the material which got bootlegged in Germany but oddly enough, that was it’s saving grace.

Ah Josh… You follow directions very well. *kudos* (no sarcasm intended) Also, as far as equipment goes, demo stuff at music shops or see if your friends who own equipment/software would let you borrow there’s for a night or two. Use whatever you feel most comfortable with. Remix Magazine took down the interview they did with me for some strange reason but if you manage to find that issue with my interview… Check out my equipment list.

Thanks homey. I initially posted a little ‘fun fact’ about this ‘Dilla beat in particular on your YouTube channel but the comment vanished. I basically said it all in this post (just in not so many words). You’ll figure it out I’m sure. I guess all those who read this didn’t bother to ask Consequence what I suggested. What a shame.
